Review: Micralite Profold

I can now no longer say Fastfold is the smallest stroller in Micralite's product line. They now have Profold. Who wouldn't want a tiny stroller with (visible) suspension and an extendable canopy? So I had to test it out. Now for those, who have before been a little skeptical about Micralite due to Fastfold's and Smartfold's very different appearance, Profold is probably more for you - it looks almost ordinary. And frankly, for that part, I am a bit dissapointed - the frame is almost the same as Silver Cross Wing and Easywalker Buggy XS have. From Micralite I would have really expected something with a little more "wow" factor. But luckily they have maintained a good selection of fabrics and indeed, the suspension is very good for a microstroller. As I said, this is a microstroller - so it will fit into the hand luggage compartment of many airlines e.g Easyjet. There are some strollers that are even smaller when folded, so I do recommend you check with ...

Emmaljunga NXT30

My first thoughts about this stroller were not particularly positive. The bumper bar just did not create any excitement for me. But now, a few months later, I've began to appreciate it. Perfect for a toddler "slipping" out of the stroller seat. Some technical info: Weight: 12,9 kg Measurements unfolded: 50 - 114 x 58 x 69 cm Measurements folded: 87 x 58 x 37 cm Seat dimensions: 103 x 33 cm Seat capacity: 22 kg Luggage basket capacity: 10 kg Suitable for use: 6 months to 4 years This stroller is available with four different chassis (Eco, Competition, Lounge and Outdoor), which also differ in wheels. Different frame sets also come with different colors. From the sustainability aspect, the Eco series is the most conscious one. Now, some impressions... Handle is quite thin, and I am not use to this. But it is not uncomfortable. You can change its position both as a telescope and horizontally, which is a good option. I like that when pushing the regulating...

Review: Silver Cross Horizon Go

Silver Cross is more known for their luxory pram systems than regular strollers. This year they come out with Silver Cross Jet , an ultra light and compat travel stroller and now they have two more - Silver Cross Horizon City and Horizon Go. Silver Cross strollers are just as good quality as their pram systems, they look as luxorious as well. The difference between Horizon City and Horizon Go is that Go has larger wheels and a larger shopping basket. The basket is indeed huge, similarily to Silver Cross Pioneer. Another difference is that these two strollers do not have an ergonomic seat rather a full-recline. Some technical details about Silver Cross Horizon Go: Seat carrying capacity: 25 kg Dimensions open: 60 x 73 x 105 cm Dimensions folded: 60 x 87,5 x 48 cm Seat lenght: 88 cm Seat back height: 50 cm Weight: 11 kg Shopping basket carrying capacity: 5 kg The stroller can be used both parent-facing and forward facing. Interestingly the stroller is actually more...

Review: Micralite SmartFold

Micralite SmartFold was a really positive surprise for me. I was a little sceptical at first due to its UFO-like apparance, but it has honestly become one of my favorites. Review and comparison: Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle vs Bumbleride Indie

Mountain Buggy   is not a new stroller brand for me. Last winter in Tallinn, I used Mountain Buggy Swift, quite successfully. I hope to get around to doing a small review on that too soon. Anyways, today I had a good opportunity to compare side by side Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle (UJ from here on) and Bumbleride Indie (Indie from here on). Both are three-wheelers, sporty, not not quite meant for running or rollerblading because they don't have the appropriate hand-break. They are mainly built for forward-facing use. UJ has the possibility of converting the carrycot into a parent facing seat (up to 15 kg), but in my opinion the solution isn't ideal due to very open seat and short canopy. But overall this review is from the viewpoint of using it with a toddler. I did a review on Bumbleride Indie before, you can read it here . Some technical data on UJ: Carrying capacity 25 kg (officially only 9 kg is allowed in full recline, though in my experience nothing has happened...
